Milwaukee’s Newest Radio Station Debuts: The New 94.5 Lake FM

Milwaukee’s newest radio station, “94.5 Lake FM” debuted at noon on November 6, 2008.

The new station will play the widest variety of music ever heard on Milwaukee radio, and will feature familiar music spanning many musical styles and eras.

Over the last several months, we’ve interviewed thousands of Milwaukee radio listeners and we’ve crafted a new radio station designed to meet your changing tastes. Based on your feedback, we’ve designed a radio station that’s unpredictable and fun to listen to. Instead of being limited to just a few hundred of the same tired songs, we’re playing thousands of songs from the 60’s to today, including Pop, Rock, Top 40 and the timeless classics. Because of the variety of music we’re playing, 94.5 Lake FM is the perfect station to listen to at work.

We will have three guiding goals: first, to play the widest possible variety of music for adults; second, to make radio fun and unpredictable again; and third, to be involved in a meaningful way in our community.
