'CSI' Doper/Actor Charged With Felony Drug Charges
CSI star Gary Dourdan was formally charged with felony drug possession stemming from his April 28 arrest in Palm Springs, Calif. Three felonies were filed in all, for possession of heroin, cocaine and ecstasy. Dourdan's arraignment is set for May 28.
"If convicted, Dourdan faces a probation term and could be required to complete a drug treatment program. If he completes it, the charges will be dismissed."
Vanilla Ice Threatened Suicide During Fight With Wife
TMZ posted the 911 call from Vanilla Ice's wife after he allegedly hit and kicked her last. As we know, Ice was eventually cleared of domestic battery after their bitter spat at their Palm Beach, Florida home.
But the recording of the call his wife Laura made has her begging for a divorce, while he threatens to kill/off himself. At one point the operator asks if there are guns in the house, Laura confirms there are, and Ice is heard saying, "I don't need a gun."
Later in the seven minute-long conversation, Laura told the operator, "All I really want is a divorce. He is too controlling," and Ice can be heard saying, "I'm going to kill myself, I swear to God."
Police were dispatched to the scene and Van Winkle was arrested. Laura later retracted her statement, accusing him of hitting and kicking her, and charges were dropped.
Seacrest In For King...?
Larry King may have signed a deal with CNN good until 2010, but sources say nies Ryan Seacrest is set to fill his legendary seat/suspenders.
A source from within CNN says that Seacrest, who has filled in for his friend Larry King in the past, is involved in "serious negotiations" to take over "Larry King Live" around [2009]'s end.
Larry King has said of Seacrest, "He's the classic generalist. The only thing I don't know, and I've gotten to know him pretty well, is how versed he is in politics, world affairs. Does he read the paper? Is he interested in Iraq? Because if he is, he's going to be very good."
Mariah's Wedding PICS Posted
As expected, People mag ran pics of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's wedding. And Mariah tells the mag, "We really do feel we are soulmates. I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me."
Nick Cannon adds: "She is beautiful on the outside and 10 times as beautiful on the inside."
Oprah Had The Scoop, First
Oprah Winfrey said Mariah Carey knew all along that she was going to marry Nick Cannon. Before she tied the knot, Orpah said Mariah had the words "Mrs. Cannon" tattooed on her back.
Before the wedding, Mariah visited Oprah and "she already had, on her body, the tattoo on her back that said 'Mrs. Cannon'". Oprah says, "They were already planning on doing it."
Amy Winehouse Arrested On Suspicion Of Drugs Possession
Amy Winehouse was arrested yesterday in connection with a January video that reportedly shows her doing drugs at a party at her north London home. London's Metropolitan Police said Amy was released on so-called police bail following several hours of questioning at a police station in the city.
"Amy Winehouse voluntarily attended a London police station today by appointment. She was arrested in order to be interviewed and is cooperating fully with inquiries. The interview relates to a video handed to police earlier this year."
In January, Britain's The Sun in January published still images from a video that it claimed showed Amy inhaling fumes from a small pipe. The images were said to have been filmed during a party at her home. Her release on police bail means she has not been charged with an offense, but that officers can recall her for more questioning at any time.
